MEEKER | The second Meekerpalooza is this Friday, June 27. The Meeker Market will be open from 4-8 p.m. and live music by the Black Canyon Boys kicks off at 6 p.m. ERBM is hosting a pickleball tournament for $10/team starting at 6:30. Register from 6-6:30 p.m. at the Courthouse basketball court.

Freedom Shoot on July 5
MEEKER | The Meeker Sportsman’s Club (MSC) is hosting the Freedom Shoot—3D Archery Event during Range Call. Join us at the MSC range (2553 CR 11) on July 5 – event starts at 9:00am sharp! Entry fee is $30 – adults, $20 – youth age 12-17, $10 – cubs age 0-12. Cash prizes for winners and door prize drawings!
Prayer vigil for the nation July 6
RANGELY | The Meeker United Methodist Church is holding a prayer vigil for the United States on the afternoon of July 6 from 12-6 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church (368 4th St., Meeker). We would love to have you drop by the sanctuary and join us in prayer.
Babysitter Training Course July 11-12
MEEKER | ERBM Recreation & Park District is hosting a Babysitter Training Course for teens ages 12–18. The program will cover basic childcare, leadership, professionalism, safety, and how to start a babysitting business, as well as Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications from the American Red Cross. Friday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday, July 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. $75/person includes official certificates and a reference book to keep. Library book club to meet July 14
MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library book club is reading “Tattoos on the Heart” by Gregory Boyle. We will meet to discuss the book at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, July 14, at 1 p.m. Extra copies are available for check out at the library if you would like to join in the fun.
