Shamrock Pool Party March 13
MEEKER | Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with pool inflatables and family fun at the Shamrock Pool Party Friday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Certified lifeguards will be on duty to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all ages. Normal fees and all pool rules apply. Questions: 970-878-3403.
Holy Family Catholic Church Fish Fry March 13
MEEKER | Holy Family will again hold a Fish Fry Dinner on March 13 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. This year it will be held in the 4-H Building at the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds. Fish, fries, coleslaw, drinks and homemade desserts. Adults: $17. Kids: $6. There will also be a bake sale. Please note the new location this year!
Vernal Gun and Knife Show March 13-14
VERNAL | There will be a gun and knife show in Vernal, Utah, at the Uintah County Conference Center (313 East 200 South) on March 13 from 12-7 p.m. and March 14 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $5 cash or $7 card. Veterans and law enforcement get in for free. For further information, email [email protected]. Proceeds go to the Uintah County Search and Rescue.
RBC Republican Assembly March 14
MEEKER | The Rio Blanco County Republicans will hold their assembly on Saturday, March 14 at 10 a.m. at the Fairfield Center in Meeker. (200 Main St.) Open to the public; delegates elected at the caucuses may participate.

Fairfield grant application deadline April 1
MEEKER | The deadline for the semi-annual Freemain E. Fairfield grant applications will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Applications may be mailed to PO Box 2302, Meeker, CO 81641, or delivered to White River Electric (233 6th St.), ATTN: JH Sheridan, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mon-Thurs. Applications must be received, not just postmarked, by April 1, 2025.
Botanical Gardens trip March 27
