Fairfield grant application deadline April 1

MEEKER |  The deadline for the semi-annual Freemain E. Fairfield grant applications will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Applications may be mailed to PO Box 2302, Meeker, CO 81641, or delivered to White River Electric (233 6th St.), ATTN: JH Sheridan, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mon-Thurs. Applications must be received, not just postmarked, by April 1, 2025.

Hunter Education March 28-29

MEEKER | Learn safe and responsible firearm handling and obtain your Colorado Hunter Education Certificate. Class will be taught by Colorado Parks & Wildlife Saturday, March 28, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 29, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Full participation is required, including a visit to the shooting range Sunday afternoon. Class is taught at a sixth grade level and participants must be able to take a written test without assistance. Participants need to bring a sack lunch each day. $14/person. Crafternoons at the Library

MEEKER | Come hang out and make some art at the Library. Music and snacks will be provided. Stations of the Cross on Good Friday

MEEKER | Meeker United Methodist Church would like to invite the community to observe the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday, April 3 starting at noon. We will start on the west side of the courthouse lawn. Everyone is also welcome to join UMC’s Good Friday evening service at 7 p.m. to be held at St James (368 4th Street) in Richards Hall.

Geezer Gather Tuesdays at the Rec Center

Community First Aid Course April 4

MEEKER | Obtain your American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR, First Aid and AED Certification. Class is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Meeker Rec Center. Father-Daughter Ball April 17

Suits concert in Craig April 25

MEEKER | Adults 18+, step back in time with The Suits! ERBM Recreation & Park District is providing transportation and admission to this Craig Concert Association-sponsored performance on Saturday, April 25.
