Library Book Club May 12
MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library Book Club is excited to announce our next read: “The Lonely Hearts Book Club” by Lucy Gilmore. We will be meeting at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, May 12, at 1 p.m. to discuss the book. If you’d like to participate or read the book on your own, extra copies are available to check out at the library.
Glenwood Springs Gondola and Cave Tour May 12

MEEKER | Northwest Colorado Development Council is holding an Opportunity Expo on Tuesday, May 13 at the Meeker Business Center (345 Market St.) from 5-6:30 p.m. Childcare, snacks and networking will be provided. Natural Soda will have a business showcase there for recruitment along with other organizations providing resources.
Local Working Group in Rangely May 14
RANGELY | Hosted by the White River and Douglas Creek Conservation Districts and NRCS, we are collecting feedback from the local community to gain insight into key local natural resource concerns. This information will help identify and develop conservation projects in partnership with local producers. Natural resource concerns range from water quality, irrigation, forest health, streambank restoration, and wildlife to rangeland health and more. Funding is available to support eligible projects Wednesday, May 14, 6-8pm at the CNCC Weiss Building (500 Kennedy Dr.) Food and beverages included. Questions call 970-878-9838
Barone STEM Games Carnival May 15
MEEKER | Join Barone Middle School on Thursday, May 15 from 4:15-5:30 p.m. for the 2025 STEM Games Carnival (Bob Tucker Drive). Fun for the whole family with games, prizes (50¢ per game) and fun! All proceeds go to supporting the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) program.
Rio Blanco Stockgrowers Association Annual Banquet May 17
MEEKER | Mark your calendars for the Rio Blanco Stockgrowers on Saturday, May 17 at the 4-H Community Center (not the Fairfield!). Social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. Tickets $60/ea and will be available at select businesses (stay tuned for locations and additional pricing for Casino Night) Prime rib dinner (by Meeker Cafe), a dessert dash, poker games (non-cash prizes available for the top three winners), live and silent auctions, and a FFA Labor Auction all in support of the Rio Blanco Stockgrowers Association and Meeker FFA Chapter.
