Holiday Land Carnival Nov. 21

meeker | Get your holiday spirit on with the 4-H Cloverbuds at the Holiday Land Carnival Friday, Nov. 21 at the RBC Fairgrounds from 4-8 p.m. at the 4-H Building. Food, games, photo booths and a dance floor. Fun for all ages!

Pink Friday is TOMORROW!

meeker | The fourth annual Pink Friday shopping event will be Friday, Nov. 21 in Meeker. There will be a bingo card for customers of participating businesses with prizes for the winners (the Bingo event will be Friday and Saturday). Participating businesses include Bluebell Boutique, Backcountry Outdoor, Ashley Christie’s, Farm Girl Goat Milk Soap (pop-up at Bluebell), Gypsy Creations (pop-up at Bluebell), Kaysyn Krystal Photography (pop-up at Bluebell), The Mend, White River Dental Hygiene, Flat Tops Micro Bakery, Rozzi’s, Von Flue Auto Parts, Maker’s Muse, NAPA Auto Parts, Home.Made, White River Liquor, Mountain Charisma, Restored Grace, Meeker General Mercantile, Wrangled Relics, Off the Olive Branch/On the Grapevine. Pick up a Bingo card at any of these businesses. 

Help assemble Thanksgiving food baskets for families in need Nov. 22

MEEKER | Volunteers are invited to help assemble and deliver baskets at St. James at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22.

MHS Drama presents ‘Murder in the Knife Room’ Dec. 3-5

MEEKER | MHS Drama presents a murder mystery comedy in one-act, appropriate for all ages, on Wednesday, Dec. 3, Thursday, Dec. 4, and Friday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Meeker High School auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door. 

Holiday Social for seniors Friday, Dec. 5

MEEKER | Adults 62+, please join us for the Holiday Social! This year’s event is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5 at the Fairfield Center. Doors open at 11 a.m., lunch served at 11 a.m. Entertainment provided. $10/person for pre-registration, or $15/person at the door. Early registration is encouraged! Rangely Craft Fair Dec. 6

RANGELY | The fourth annual craft show/bazaar will be held Dec. 6 at the EEC building (402 W Main) in Rangely. This is going to be a great show with your favorite vendors from past years to new and exciting vendors. A great place to do your Christmas shopping!

Sign up now to sponsor veterans event in May 2026

MEEKER | Organizers of the first annual Meeker Veterans Community Center Bull Riding Concert and Gala, set for May 24, 2026, are seeking sponsors to help fund veteran services, wellness programs, family support and scholarships. The full-day event will feature professional bull riding with veteran riders, a catered gala with live and silent auctions, and a concert headliner (to be determined). Attendance is expected to reach 2,000 to 3,000 people, offering strong visibility for sponsors. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to sponsor the event or donate auction items to help secure a major headliner and expand programs benefiting local veterans. Meeker Library Book Club Dec. 8

MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library Book Club is reading The World’s Strongest Librarian by Josh Hanagarne. We will meet to discuss the book at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m.  Extra copies are available for check out at the library. The memoir is also available as an audiobook on hoopla and as an ebook or audiobook on Libby. New members are always welcome!

Short Stories & Snacks @ the Library

MEEKER | New program at the Meeker Public Library! The Short Stories and Snacks Club is the book club for people who don’t have time to read. We will be reading The Lottery by Shirley Jackson. Copies of the story are available at the library, or you can read it or listen to it on hoopla and Libby.  We will meet at the Meeker Public Library on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. Snacks will be served.
