MEEKER | MHS Drama presents a murder mystery comedy in one-act, appropriate for all ages, on Wednesday, Dec. 3, Thursday, Dec. 4, and Friday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Meeker High School auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door.

MEEKER | Join us for a visit with Santa and free breakfast provided by the Meeker Lions Club Saturday, Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m at the Fairfield Center, 200 Main St.. Enjoy pancakes, eggs, and sausage and share your Christmas wishes with Santa. Please bring nonperishables to donate to the local food pantry.

MEEKER | Organizers of the first annual Meeker Veterans Community Center Bull Riding Concert and Gala, set for May 24, 2026, are seeking sponsors to help fund veteran services, wellness programs, family support and scholarships. The full-day event will feature professional bull riding with veteran riders, a catered gala with live and silent auctions, and a concert headliner (to be determined). Attendance is expected to reach 2,000 to 3,000 people, offering strong visibility for sponsors. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to sponsor the event or donate auction items to help secure a major headliner and expand programs benefiting local veterans. MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library Book Club is reading The World’s Strongest Librarian by Josh Hanagarne. We will meet to discuss the book at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m. Extra copies are available for check out at the library. The memoir is also available as an audiobook on hoopla and as an ebook or audiobook on Libby. New members are always welcome!

MEEKER | New program at the Meeker Public Library! The Short Stories and Snacks Club is the book club for people who don’t have time to read. We will be reading The Lottery by Shirley Jackson.
