‘May the Forest Be With You Always’ Poster Judging Contest at Streamline Oct. 28-31
MEEKER | This competition celebrates ‘Stewardship Week’ hosted by the White River Conservation District and the National Association of Conservation Districts. The Barone Middle School sixth-grade students created posters with the theme of promoting forest conservation. You choose the final three to win cash prizes with the winner going to state finals. Non-lethal Wolf Conflict Reduction Training Nov. 4
MEEKER | You are invited to an upcoming interagency training session on Nov. 4 in Meeker. The main focus of this training is to educate the public and producers on effectively handling encounters with wolves. MEEKER | The Meeker Sportsman’s Club is hosting indoor archery practice shoots beginning Thursday, Nov. 7 from 6-8 p.m. through the winter (except Thanksgiving) in the 4-H building at the RBC Fairgrounds. Practice and have some fun! Bring your own bow, arrows, paper target and pins. Targets may be available for purchase. $10 per person for non-members of the Meeker Sportsman’s Club, $5 per person for members. Kids 16 and under shoot free.
