The Meeker School District’s transportation budget was incorrectly printed in last week’s edition of the Herald Times. The district’s transportation budget for 2007-2008 budget was $266,898 and $278,748 was proposed for the department’s 2008-2009 budget, not the district’s total budget of $5.73 million (‘07-’08) and proposed $6.07 million for the upcoming year, as was incorrectly written. The district’s budget can be seen at the school district’s administration office at 555 Garfield. It was also incorrectly written, last week’s Meeker champ of the week, Johnny Wix placed third at the state meet in the shot put, when it was actually the discus throw, where he earned the bronze medal. We regret the errors.
