The first house built in Rifle was torn down this week, says the Reveille. It was the the old adobe house built by A. W. Maxfield in ‘82.

The various male members of the Methodist Church have been doing time this week. They have been putting on two coats of paint on the exterior of the church.
Ralph Tagert returned after spending the winter in Denver. Ralph drove his car home but we do not know which pass he came over.

Mesa College Jazz Ensemble, directed by Paul Schneider, spent spring vacation playing Jazz music before audiences in Mexico City, Pueblo, Cuernavaca and Cuautla, Mexico.

The Northwest AA League recently released the names of the All-Conference girls volleyball and basketball teams. Three Rangely High girls were on the list named by NWL coaches in the two sports.
