This is to certify that I have had chronic diarrhoea ever since the war. I got so weak I could hardly walk or do anything. One bottle of Chamberlains’s Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy cured me sound and well.
On Tuesday David Smith and family moved to their new home on the ranch which adjoins the town on the west.
Jesse Hainline, Formerly of Rangely, but now in the drug business in Vernal, was a Meeker visitor last week.

The district attorney’s office is no snap. Frank Delaney, who fills that office with marked ability, has been up till 1 and 2 o’clock every night working on his cases.
Dr. and Mrs. Paul Dill and a party of friends all of Greeley were all visitors in the Meeker area on Tuesday. While in this vicinity, they made a trip to Trappers Lake.
There is a brisk demand for cavalry horses these days.

Meeker High School Football cheerleaders are anxious for the start of the season. Leading the yells this fall will be Kathy Clapper, Jeri Coulter, Amy Chambers, Vicky Frisby, Cheryl Chappel, and Annette Adams.
Meeker’s 1974 football season will start off with a double bang this year as not only the first game has been scheduled as homecoming, but also former coach Paul Starbuck will be honored at the halftime ceremonies.
The 1974 Homecoming King and Queen candidates were announced this week. Seniors: Leslie Coley, Roger Overton, and Kathy Englert. Juniors: Kathy King, John Wix, Vicky Frisby. Sophomores: Barbie Harvey, Dave Morlan, and Deena Hallmark. Freshman: Mary Nieslanik, Steve Parr, and Lori Smith.

Some may not realize it but the Bible has quite a bit to say about the type of work ethic we are to possess.
“You’re anti-hunting, yet you produce a hunting guide every year. I hate hunting too, so it really galls me that you produce a hunting guide each year.”
Jade Mehlhoff represented Meeker at the American Coed State Pageant in Denver. Jade, age 8, was one of 25 state finalists in the sweetheart division (ages 7-10).

A disgruntled sailor roused a mob against a captain. There were days when the crew followed the captain, and they went in one direction.
The Rangely Panthers open conference play Friday night at 7:30 p.m here against the Battle Mountain Huskies.

On September 4, the Rangely Middle School football teams took on the always tough Craig Bullpups.
Rangely volleyball experienced a successful weekend with two wins over non-league Plateau Valley and Hotchkiss.
On Sept. 11, the football teams traveled to Meeker and played two tough games against the Cowboys.
