“Fame” presented by MHS Drama Club…

The cast and dance ensemble at Meeker High School finish up one of the dances featured in FAME, the musical performed three times for the public last week by the Meeker High School Drama Club at the MHS auditorium. Members of the dance ensemble were Nashiko Thelen, Kinzy Burke, Kendra Neilson, Christian Gomez, Halle Ahrens, Delenn Mobely, Faith Goedert, Madeline Amack and Reese Pertile.

Meeker High School senior McKenna Kummer sings a solo during Friday night’s presentation of FAME by the seniors in the MHS Drama Class. Kummer played the role of Serena Katz during the performances on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The costumes were designed and chosen by Kim Kendall, the director, and Stacie Kincher and Stephany Joos.

Joe Vegas, a wise-cracking student at a top-end performing arts academy in New York City, was portrayed by Meeker High School senior Bruno Juarez during last week’s three performances of FAME. Other cast members included Morgan Robb, Ohana Mataia, Stephani Joos, Aly Ridings, Brittany Smith, Jamie McLaughlin, Colin Keeler, Sam Baylie, J.C. Henderson and Layton Bair.
