MEEKER | The fireworks display on the 4th of July is a classic American tradition. Meeker has always taken pride in its fireworks presentations, and would very much like to see it continue for years to come.
In the past, the Meeker Fire District has sponsored our fireworks with the assistance of donations from other districts and businesses. This year, they approached the Range Call committee and asked for them to take over the raising of funds for the fireworks display. This change means that the show will no longer be held to the budgetary constraints of special districts, and will allow the community to have responsibility over the future of the show. The fireworks now depend on you.
If you would like to see the fireworks display continue and grow, please consider donating to the fireworks fund, either as a business or an individual, to help us keep giving our community a wonderful display each year! Please note that the show is always one year behind, so any funds raised this year will go towards next year’s fireworks show. There will be locations to donate around town and at each ticket gate at each event during this year’s 4th of July weekend festivities, or you can contact the Range Call committee by email at [email protected] or on our Facebook page.
