RANGELY | CNCC Fall classes are in full swing, and students welcome and success activities are
underway. Our fall enrollment is up compared to this time last year, and our incoming students are excited to begin both their academic journey and out-of-class experiences.
The first home soccer game took place on Aug. 23, with additional soccer, volleyball, and cross-country meets scheduled throughout the season. We encourage all CNCC students and community members to come out and support our Spartan athletes. Learn more and stay updated by visiting Colorado Northwestern Community College Athletics official website at https://athletics.cncc.edu.
Also planned for community participation is CNCC’s 2025 Fall Homecoming activities Sept. 24-27, 2025. We hope you will encourage your student if they are a Spartan to participate and also hope community members will look for events open to the public and attend all they can.

I’d like to close this CNCC Corner with our heartfelt thank you to all the first responders
who heroically supported the residents of Meeker, and others affected by the recent
wildfires. CNCC was proud to join numerous community, state, and federal
agencies—as well as local citizens—in offering support, resources, housing, and space
for RVs and tents.
We remain committed to providing care and assistance in any way we can. Our
thoughts continue to be with those in the recovery and rebuilding process. Wishing
everyone a safe and joyful start to the fall season.
-Dr. Lisa Jones President of CNCC
