As the nights in Northwest Colorado get longer and darker, we all seem to long for a bit of light. I know of some of our residents take advantage of the balmy November days to start setting up their Christmas light displays. Santa ladders are brought out of storage, towns are putting up banners and decorating lamp posts. Elves in hydraulic buckets string tall trees with lights on tall trees.
The Herald would like encourage residences, and businesses to list their displays in this paper. We will publish the addresses each week in December, so that others can plan car tours. We do ask visitors to be courteous to neighbors and not block driveways or make excessive noise late at night.
We will not be offering prizes, but would be glad to give honorable mention to any display visible from the space station. Any business wanting to publish a picture of your display, please contact our advertising department for special attention.
Email [email protected] to be listed or to publish a business photo.
