Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor IHC Scott are widening 3.5 miles of Highway 13 between mile markers 12 and 16 to create passing lanes, pullouts and a new chain up area. Work is scheduled to wrap up in November of 2023. The first of two project phases is focused on culverts, drainage, embankment, widening of slopes and the beginning of a wildlife underpass.
