Despite subzero temperatures in Rangely for several weeks, Jeremy Fielder told his children he’d help them build the same kind of ice hut he’d built as a kid. The structure at 114 Pinyon Circle was built using storage totes to form blocks of snow, trampoline netting for a roof, and water from a sprinkler to solidify the structure. “The kids have loved it,” mother Nicole said. “They spend time in it when they get home from school.”
