MEDICAL RECORD DESTRUCTION
PIONEERS MEDICAL CENTER
Eastern Rio Blanco County Health Service District, dba Pioneers Medical Center, formerly known as Pioneers Hospital of Rio Blanco County, The Meeker Family Health Center, and The Walbridge Memorial Convalescent Wing will be destroying Medical Records related to visits and/or test results performed at Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker, Colorado December 31, 2007 and prior. Records selected for destruction will include all records for patients (over 18 years of age at the time of treatment or prior to December 31, 2007.) Additionally, records of minor children at the time of treatment December 31, 2007 and prior who are now 28 years of age or greater are scheduled for destruction. Medical records destruction will begin May 21, 2018. If you wish to have a copy of any of these medical records set to be destroyed please contact the Health Information Management department at (970) 878-9267

SENIOR CITIZEN’S WATER RATE
REDUCTION PROGRAM
If you live in a household with one family member who is 64 years or older, as shown by a birth certificate, school records, and military discharge documents or other supporting documentation acceptable to the Town of Meeker, you may qualify for a reduced water rate during the months of May through September. Eligible households receive the first 8,000 gallons of water free each month (a savings of $24.00 per month). Usage over 8,000 gallons per month will be billed at the rate of $1.55 cents per 1,000 gallons. See attached fee increase schedule.
To qualify for the program, the total gross family income for all residents of the household must be less than one thousand, seven hundred sixty-nine dollars and forty cents per month ($1769.40) or twenty one thousand, two hundred thirty two dollars and eighty four cents ($21,232.84) per year as evidenced by the federal income tax return/s for all household members for the year 2017. If you are not required to file an income tax return, please provide copies of all non taxable income received by the household for the year 2017.
If you have been previously enrolled in this program, the Town has your proof of age on file and will only require that you provide the income tax return or written proof of non-taxable income. In order to quality for the program for the month of May, please provide the town with the required information no later than May 20, 2018. If you miss the May deadline you may qualify for a reduction in June if the required information is filed with the Town no later than June 20, 2018.

Notice is hereby given that the Commissioner of Rio Blanco County, Colorado will hold a public hearing to consider revisions to the Rio Blanco County Land Use Regulations. Commissioners of Rio Blanco County, Colorado hearing will be held on June 18, 2018 at 11:15 a.m. at the Rio Blanco County Annex Building, 17497 Highway 64 Rangely, Colorado.
The Rio Blanco County staff recommends the following proposed amendments to the Rio Blanco County Land Use Regulations in conformance with the process set forth in the Rio Blanco County Land Use Regulations Section 4-208- Land Use Regulations Text Amendment.
The proposed amendments are indicated below in bold typeface. Bold items are proposed additions to the regulations. Bold items with strikethrough are proposed deletions from the regulations.
Article 16- Definitions
Recreational Cabin A structure with no more than 800 square feet of gross floor area including unfinished basements, for living, sleeping, eating or cooking; shall be occupied as a dwelling for no more than 180 days during any calendar year for personal use; not to be used for commercial purposes; other than allowed for ranching operations, the cabin will not be used as a place to house employees; will not be used as a location to receive mail or shipments; will not in any way be used as a residence for tax returns, driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, voter registration or other similar documents; will have an Onsite Wastewater Treatment System meeting the requirements of the Rio Blanco County Land Use Regulations, Article 17 permitted, installed, inspected and approved before use and occupancy; will not be sold or transferred to any new owner without written notice stating that the cabin was not inspected nor issued a Certificate of Occupancy under the Rio Blanco County Building Code and is subject to the restrictions and requirements of the original approval; will comply with all State of Colorado Laws pertaining to any installation of electrical, plumbing, fuel gas and mechanical equipment C.R.S. 12-23-104, C.R.S. 12-58-104; even though no building permit or inspections will be required, consider the recommendation of constructing the cabin to meet the requirements of the Rio Blanco County Building Code. One Recreational Cabin is allowed on a Recreational Cabin Parcel per legally, as long as no other dwelling unit is on the Parcel. Recreational Cabins will be required to have a Rio Blanco County assigned address posted at the driveway and on the cabin. Recreational Vehicles are not permitted to be recreational cabins. The Recreational Cabin shall have an access driveway meeting the requirements of the Rio Blanco County Land Use Regulations Section 7-305.A. Driveway Standards.

2018 RIO BLANCO COUNTY
WRAY GULCH LANDFILL CELL A CONSTRUCTION
REQUEST FOR BID
PROJECT LOCATION AND GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK
Rio Blanco County is seeking a qualified contractor to construct a 3.4 acre clay liner landfill cell including a leachate sump system with pump and controls.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Contract Documents shall be available on-line at www.govbids.com/scripts/co1/public/home1.asp, or on Rio Blanco County’s website at www.rbc.us on the Bid Postings page, or at the Rio Blanco County Road and Bridge Dept. 570 2nd Street, Meeker, Colorado 81641 on or before May 15, 2018.

The Project shall start on or after June 18, 2018 and be completed by September 14, 2018.

Each bid must include a certified check or cashier’s check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Rio Blanco County, or by a bid bond in like amount executed by a surety company.
Mailed bids are due no later than 4:00 P.M. on Friday, June 8, 2018. Do not depend on overnight delivery.

Bids shall be opened and read in public at 11:15 A.M. on June 11, 2018 at the Rio Blanco County Commissioners’ Meeting Room, 555 Main St. 3rd Floor, Meeker, CO. Bids submitted after 10:45 A.M. shall be returned unopened. Bids submitted and opened shall not be withdrawn for 30 days thereafter.
BID PREFERENCE
C.R.S. 8-19-101, et.seq, shall be observed on all construction contracts on public projects. The law states that when a construction contract for a public project is to be awarded to a bidder, a resident bidder shall be allowed preference against a nonresident bidder from another state equal to the preference given or required by the state in which the nonresident bidder is a resident.
BID AWARD
The Rio Blanco County Board of County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities in bids; and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of the Board, is in the best interest of the County of Rio Blanco, State of Colorado. Discrepancies between words and figures will be resolved in favor of words. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and the correct sum thereof will be resolved in favor of the correct sum. Rio Blanco County reserves the right to negotiate a contract with the selected bidder.
