Colorado Grand made its annual stop in Meeker last Thursday with lunch and entertainment downtown co-hosted by Pioneers Healthcare Foundation and the Meeker Lions Club. In its 30th year, Colorado Grand has been a great supporter of Pioneers Healthcare Foundation, with grants for the helicopter pad at Pioneers Medical Center in 2015 and the 3D mammography machine in 2017. This year the philanthropic organization presented the Meeker Lions Club a check for $10,000, and according to a letter from the organization, will give an additional $8,000 for a scholarship to a Meeker High School senior. Meeker is one of five Colorado towns to receive the scholarship donation this year. For photos, visit https://rioblancoheraldtimes.smugmug.com/30th-Colorado-Grand-Downtown-Meeker-Colorado
