Meeker board holds candidates’ forum

MEEKER I The Meeker School Board held an informational meeting for prospective board candidates last Tuesday.
The board has four positions open due to a four-year rotation.
Board members whose terms expire are Iris Franklin, Paul Neilson, Jerry Oldland and Ben Rogers.
Interested candidates have until Aug. 28 to file at least 25 valid petitions and until Aug. 31 to file as a write-in candidate.
