Happy Easter, everyone! Sunday’s date is unusually late for Easter but it appears the weather will be as typically topsy-turvy as ever.
Perhaps we should consider moving our outdoor Easter and Halloween celebrations to July, in conjunction with Range Call. It would be great! An Easter egg hunt in City Park by the light of the fireworks display and all the locals decked out in various and sundry costumes.
On this date in history, brothers Romulus and Remus founded the city of Rome. Henry VIII  ascended the throne of England. In 1898, the U.S. Congress recognized a state of war between the United States and Spain. And in 1918, German ace fighter pilot “The Red Baron” was shot down and killed in France.
