Painting entries at the Rio Blanco County Fair took on many looks and many mediums. One local artist who nailed the oil landscape in the seniors 60-plus class was Norma Oldland, who garnered a first place ribbon as well as the Best of Show ribbon in her category.
Tiffany Rosendahl of Meeker had human help with the microphones on Friday afternoon during the Rio Blanco County Has Talent competition at the county fair. Rosendahl took first place at the show with her guitar while Savana May, also of Meeker, captured second. Third went to Alexis Wiley of Dinosaur.
