TitleThe United States lost its innocence 13 years ago today when terrorists hijacked four airplanes. Two planes collided with the World Trade Center towers in New York City, one plane flew into the Pentagon and another crashed into a vacant field in Pennsylvania. Thousands of Americans lost their lives in what has become another “day of infamy” in U.S. history. We must never forget these transgressions against the U.S. nor the sacrifice of so many citizens on Sept. 11, 2001.
