MSD not offering transportation services

MEEKER | In an ongoing effort to put in place appropriate COVID-19 precautions, the Meeker School District will not be offering transportation service inside Meeker city limits.  There will be no in-town bus stops to start the 2020-2021 school year.  We apologize for any inconvenience, but must take this step to ensure we can achieve appropriate physical distancing on our school buses. 

En un esfuerzo continuo para implementar las precauciones apropiadas de COVID-19, el Distrito Escolar de Meeker no ofrecerá servicio de transporte dentro de los límites de la ciudad de Meeker. No habrá paradas de autobús en la ciudad para comenzar el año escolar 2020-2021. Nos disculpamos por cualquier inconveniente, pero debemos tomar este paso para asegurarnos de que podamos lograr una distancia física adecuada en nuestros autobuses escolares.


Circle Park closed for construction

MEEKER | The Circle Park Pond and associated park infrastructure amenity improvements project is under construction. The Fifth Street bridge and all of Circle Park will be closed to public access for the duration of the project. ERBM looks forward to finalizing these exciting new amenity improvements and reopening the new and improved park in 2021. ERBM after school program starts Aug. 24

MEEKER | SOME (School’s Out Meeker Enrichment), ERBM’s after school program, begins Aug. 24 at 4 p.m. Kids will walk to MRC and meet staff in the MP Room. For more information call 970-878-3403.


White River PAC meeting Aug. 24

RANGELY | The White River Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) will meet Monday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m. in Rangely at the CNCC Weiss Room, 500 Kennedy Dr., Rangely. The committee will continue finalizing the Scope of Work.


Help Starbuck celebrate 103rd birthday

MEEKER | The Walbridge Wing is organizing a drive-by parade on Friday, Aug. 28 at 5 p.m. to celebrate Ethel Starbuck’s 103rd birthday on Aug. 31. Walbridge Wing Activities Director Jean Gianinetti is asking people to drive by the main entrance of the hospital to honk and wave, and to drop off or mail cards telling Mrs. Starbuck happy birthday and how she impacted their lives.

RBC | Let CNCC open new doors. Get help in math, reading, writing, science and social studies as you prepare to earn your GED!  Classes are now offered at no cost to the student.
