Community News Roundup ~ Dec. 4, 2025

Happy Herald Day!

The snow is here (at long last), just in time for a lengthy list of holiday festivities this weekend, including the annual Girls Cowboy Shootout basketball tournament sponsored by WREA, ERBM’s Breakfast with Santa at the Fairfield Center Saturday morning, the Chamber’s Old-Fashioned Christmas Celebration downtown on Saturday afternoon, a holiday market hosted by the Meeker Classic at the 4-H Building, and so much more than we can fit here. You’ll have to read the paper so you don’t miss anything!

Bundle yourself up and head out for a Hallmark-worthy holiday weekend! Who knows what sort of holiday magic may ensue.

Taken Wednesday morning from the HT office.

Last week we asked willing residents with outdoor Christmas displays to let us know to add them to a viewing list (so folks can drive around and look at the lights without missing the best displays). So far only one family has opted in and we’d like to have several before we publish something. If you’re pretty proud of your displays, please let us know so we can put your dot on the map!

And don’t forget to check out our Shop@Home participants on page 5 and register to win when you visit their stores and scan the QR code.
