I spent some time at the Rio Blanco County Historical Society’s quarterly gathering on Sunday, hanging around the Meeker Herald exhibit with the original printing press (see picture), the Linotype machine that replaced it, and a lot of newspaper history. Thank goodness we don’t have to create our pages every week one letter at a time!
