You’d think having the windows open in the summer would be conducive to a great night of sleep. Not so this far. Last night I was awakened at midnight by the sound of a loud — not heated, just loud — conversation in the dark alley behind my house. Weird. I debated my options… shrieking like a fishwife from the upstairs window, calling dispatch and requesting police assistance, or storming outside in my PJs to give the two a piece of my mind. I settled for turning on all the outside lights and the pair scattered, like insects when you flip over a rock.
*yawning* Here’s to a nap!
