Off to the races

More than 60 swimmers from Rio Blanco County competed in the first swim meet ever held in the two-year-old aquatics center in Meeker last week. Both Rio Blanco County towns are trying to revive their swimming programs and last week’s meet was a kickoff to the summer season.  All four lanes in Meeker’s new pool were used for competition.
