RANGELY — The Rangely Panther baseball team had three games this past week.
The first game was Tuesday against Hayden. The boys played pretty well, but were unable to get the bats going and they lost 6-2 at home.
Saturday the team traveled to Meeker to play the Cowboys in a double header. The first game the team again struggled with the bats and Rangely lost 9-0 behind a pretty good pitching outing from Stephen Boleng. The second game was totally different as the bats came alive behind some great pitching from Kindall Cushman and stellar defense from shortstop Adam Dahl. The Panthers came away with a split in a 6-1 win.
Rangely traveled to Hayden Tuesday night for the only game of the week. Results will be in next week’s newspaper.
