Longer delays and 24/7 one-lane alternating traffic
Beginning Sunday, July 23, crews will be working on site 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
- Nighttime work hours – 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- 24/7 one-lane alternating traffic guided by a pilot car and flaggers
- Daytime work hours – 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- 24/7 one-lane alternating traffic guided by flaggers
- Motorists can expect delays for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- There are multiple shoo-fly detours in place to accommodate traffic during construction.
- The speed limit is 35 MPH through the construction zone and reduces to 25 MPH in a couple locations
- 12-foot-wide load restriction 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- The project is now unpaved, and traffic will be traveling on loose gravel – Motorcyclists use CAUTION
Construction schedules may be impacted by weather and other unanticipated delays.
