Rangely, Meeker honor troops who died in service to America

On Monday morning, the public joined men and women from the Rangely Veterans of Foreign Wars Post at Hefley Park in downtown Rangely for the laying of a wreath at the Rangely Veterans Memorial. Other items such as flowers and an American flag were also laid at the foot of the statue. Excellent weather brought out a solid crowd to remember those who gave their lives in service to America.

On Monday morning Aaron Zielinske and Pete Kiser dropped the wreath (bottom center) into the White River in memory of all members of the military who have given their lives in service to the country.
