RANGELY | Rangely’s Independence Day celebration this past weekend included Surf’n’Turf at Cedar Ridges Golf Course, a Buck Ford concert and a bit of friendly competition.

The Rib Cook Off had 17 entries. First place went to Nate Polley, second place to Chris Hejl and third place to Trilby Elam.
The Pie Contest saw a variety of entries. First place fruit pie went to John Fischer and first place cream pie went to Whitney Fischer.
Robie Elam took top prize in the horseshoe tournament.
