Meeker Dispatch Center administered 422 phone calls last week including 31 911 calls, 48 calls for Meeker Police Department (MPD) and placed 123 outgoing calls. A total of 142 calls for service were created, 67 for the Sheriff’s Office, 63 for MPD. Note the department breakdown of calls may differ from the total number reported due to individual incidents with multiple agencies responding.

Law enforcement conducted 13 traffic stops.

Sheriff’s Deputies issued no citations on 10 stops

MPD issued warnings on five stops 

There was one traffic arrest by RBCSO, no DUIs

14 traffic crashes occurred in RBC one with minor injuries. RBSO and MPD assisted Colorado State Patrol on 13 calls. Two crashes involved deer.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 69 requests for service.

Meeker Fire and Rescue responded to 10 calls.

Two alarms, 2 ambulance requests, 1 fire call for noxious fumes at a residence and 2 medical transports to other facilities,

Rio Blanco Detentions

20 current inmates, 14 males and 6 females

1 warrant arrest

Booked in 5, RPD 2,  CSP 1 and two by RBCSO

5 inmates released

3 transports to or from other facilities.
