School board weighs spending priorities, discusses growth opportunities

Possible staff bonuses, vehicle replacements, technology upgrades and capital projects were among the uses discussed for the Meeker School District’s higher-than-expected fund balance during the school board’s September meeting.

Superintendent Chris Selle recommended waiting until after the November election before making spending decisions, citing uncertainty about state finances and ballot measures affecting education funding.
