P.E.O. (Philanthropic Education Organization) Chapter BA Meeker is pleased to announce that Meeker High School senior Julia Dinwiddie has been selected as one of 29 STAR Scholarship winners in Colorado. The $2,500 scholarship awarded to Dinwiddie is just one of multiple P.E.O. scholarships awarded to graduating senior girls in Meeker this year.
Haley Follman and Jadynn Archuleta are the recipients of P.E.O Colorado State Scholarships for non-traditional or vocational education for $3,250 each.
Sarina Goedert and Caleigh Morlan are the recipients of Chapter BA $500 scholarships for vocational education.
Kirsten Brown is the recipient of the Chapter BA award for the girl having the highest grade point average in math and science, and Makenna Burke is the recipient of the Chapter BA award for the girl having the highest grade point average in English.
P.E.O. is an international nonprofit that has helped more than 113,000 women pursue their educational goals by providing more than $366 million in grants, scholarships, awards and loans since 1869. P.E.O. is one of the oldest women’s organizations in North America with close to 6,000 chapters. Chapter BA in Meeker celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019.
