Meeker celebrated the last farmers market of the season last Friday. Something Rotten! cast member Jesse Yarbrough took tomatoes for the team as part of a fundraiser for Meeker Arts and Cultural Council and WREA hosted their annual member appreciation dinner with Navajo tacos prepared by Meeker Lions Club, free gifts and giveaways, like an electric lawnmower which went to the Braaten family.

No snow this time for MHS tracksters
MEEKER I This past weekend, the Meeker High School Track and Field team traveled to Grand Junction for their second meet of the season, hosted by Palisade High School. This time, the weather cooperated.
