Sportsman’s club seeking contributions to buy land and keep range open

MEEKER | Every year more than 800 hunters stop by the Meeker Sportsman’s Club just south of Meeker on Highway 13 to sight-in their guns before they head to the hills in search of their prey. Close to 200 local club members take advantage of the shooting and archery range to hone their shooting skills.
Many of our local youth have completed their hunter education classes there and participated in 4-H club practices and competitions.…
