Regardless of which war, or branch of service, all veterans learn early that their survival depends on their ability to ask three critical questions: No. 1) What could go wrong? No. 2) How bad could it get? No. 3) What are they going to do if it does happen?
New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Baltimore, Portland, Austin and Milwaukee cut funding for law enforcement, Portland saw a 530% increase in its murder rate. Austin saw a 74% rise. New York’s murder rate was 56% higher. Chicago’s rose by 54%. In 2020, there were an estimated 1,277,696 violent crimes. The volume of murder and nonnegligent manslaughter offenses increased 29.4%. The estimated number of aggravated assault offenses rose 12.1%, and there were an estimated 6,452,038 property crimes, motor vehicle thefts rose 11.8%. I believe it would be smart to fully restore funding for the Rio Blanco Sheriff’s department and let Sheriff Mazzola and his deputies continue to do what they do best, protect the citizens. https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/ucr
