Suspicious death of Montrose couple under investigation

By bobby [email protected] I Meeker postmaster Caryl Meitler received news her son Scott Michael Clarke and his wife Kama were found dead in their home in Montrose, Colo., Monday morning.Meitler said she was contacted by Montrose authorities, Monday afternoon. Her 15-year-old grandson found the bodies in their home Monday morning. Meitler was on her way to Montrose to be with her grandson.According to the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office, the cause and manner of death are currently under investigation and pending autopsy results.The Montrose County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking the whereabouts of Ryan Craig Peterson, 19. Investigators want to interview Peterson in connection with the discovery of the two bodies. Peterson is also wanted on four outstanding warrants issued out of Montrose County.Peterson is described as a white male, 5’6” tall, 135 pounds and short brown hair. Peterson is believed to still be in the Montrose area.
