Newly elected and returning elected officials were sworn in by oath on Tuesday prior to the first commissioner’s meeting of 2023.

Outgoing Clerk and Recorder Boots Campbell administered the oath of office to her replacement, Shawn Luce. Campbell has been in the clerk and recorder’s office for 18 years.
Doug Overton takes the oath of office for Commissioner in District 1.
Jennifer O’Hearon, appointed by the county Republican Party in May and elected by voters in November, will continue to represent District 2 as board chair.
Renae Neilson took the oath of office again as RBC Assessor.
RBC Sheriff Anthony Mazzola was sworn in for another term.
Laura Smith takes the oath of office as RBC Coroner.
Rhonna Waldref was sworn in as County Treasurer for another term.
