UPDATED NUMBERS: Numbers were updated Wednesday after press time. There were 2,355 ballots returned in the presidential primary for a 52.47% voter turnout. These numbers are still unofficial.

Republican Primary Winner in RBC
Donald J. Trump – 96.68%

Democratic Primary Winner in RBC
Bernie Sanders – 30.53%

RBC I As of 8:30 p.m. on Super Tuesday, unofficial Rio Blanco County results from the first Colorado presidential primary in 20 years indicate incumbent Donald Trump the clear winner for the Republican party with 96.5% of the 1,630 votes cast.

Votes are divided for Democratic party candidates, with Bernie Sanders receiving 27.37%, Mike Bloomberg receiving 26.82%, Joe Biden receiving 23.46%, and Elizabeth Warren receiving 20.11% of the 179 Democratic primary ballots returned.

Voter turnout for this primary was about 40% of Rio Blanco County’s 4,448 registered voters.
