Cooler temperatures, higher relative humidity and some precipitation received last night and this morning are expected to reduce fire behavior today.
The Cabin Lake Fire, 5.5 miles south of Buford, Colo., and 7 miles northwest of Meadow Lake Campground, has grown to approximately 1,000 acres with 20 percent containment. 160 firefighters are working the fire.
Seven Lakes Lodge and neighboring cabins remain in pre-evacuation status. The Buford/New Castle Road is closed at County Road 10 to the Meadow Lake Campground turnoff.
