Soon to be just a memory, the demolition of the old Pioneers Medical Center at 345 Cleveland St. in Meeker neared completion on Friday as the last of the building was buried and the ground that once housed the hospital was leveled. Sunny skies and beautiful fall foliage surrounded the demolition of the hospital building, the birthplace of many Meeker residents.
