Home of: Anna Katrine Todd

MEEKER | Anna Katrine Todd of Meeker is this week’s “home of” honoree. Anna has lived in Meeker for five years with her sons Ivan and Makiah. She was married for seven years, but now is divorced.
Anna is the music and technology teacher at Meeker Elementary School. She is the president of the Meeker Education Association. She was a member of the Regional Arts Cadre in Washington state. In 2006, she was the site coordinator for the Washington State Children’s Choir. Anna currently is the director for both the Meeker Community Choir and the Meeker Marimba Group.
“Music is a passion and I enjoy being involved in the community as well as the arts. Over the years, I have been involved in community performance groups including band, choir, flute ensemble, and church worship team. Singing has always been at my heart and am singing more for community events,” Anna said.
“I love the small community of Meeker. People are very friendly and supportive here. The community provides a wonderful atmosphere for raising a family with opportunities for the arts, sports and other community events. It is great to be involved,” Anna said.
