Susie Cooper Wheeler, of Rangely/Dinosaur, Colorado, left this earth on Jan. 30, 2019, at the young age of 71, to join her cherished Lord in heaven. After a brief yet unexpected medical complication Susie passed with her beloved daughters Wendy Campbell, Dondi Osborne, and granddaughter Taylor Campbell by her side in Rangely.
Susie was born to Jean and Forrest Cooper on Aug. 17, 1947, in Montrose, Colorado. She lived a full and rowdy life growing up alongside her sisters and brothers (Beverly Cooper, Betty Jo Houston, Macel Searcey, Forrest Cooper and Norman Cooper.
Susie is survived by her daughters Wendy Campbell of Rangely and Dondi Osborne of Durango, her husband Mike Wheeler of Dinosaur, four granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She also left behind her older brothers Forey and Norman and sisters Betty Jo and Macel. She also had several close friends and she will be sorely missed and forever remembered.
Services will be held at Rangely Christian Church on May 25, 2019, at 2 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow services at 930 Taos Dr., Rangely, Colorado, 81648
