MEEKER I Residents and visitors to Meeker will now have a local option to rent an off-highway vehicle (OHV) for a couple hours, a half-day or full-day.
Meeker residents Nick and Andrea Gianinetti opened the doors to Gianinetti’s, Ltd., on Wednesday, May 15.
“Both Nick and I grew up in Meeker and we love this community and county,” Andrea Gianinetti said via email. “The town, Wagon Wheel OHV Club, county and many visitors have been asking for off-road rentals to be available in our area, so we decided we should provide that service. Nick is a certified aircraft mechanic and has been working on small engines since childhood.”
The Gianinettis enjoy the outdoors, whether it’s snowmobiling, hunting or off-roading with their family of six. “We’re excited to follow our family’s passion into this industry,” Gianinetti added.
In partnership with Polaris Adventures, Gianinetti’s will provide rentals of Polaris RZR XP 1000s—the latest in off-road technology—and Polaris General 1000s.
Located at 246 Market St. (at the back of the parking lot), customers can rent an OHV and access the Wagon Wheel OHV trail system from town. Units will have tablets installed in the cab for ease of navigation.
“With the increase in off-road vehicles being purchased and used in our area, as well as the increased marketing of our trail system, we hope that Gianinetti’s, Ltd. can thrive. We’ll need your local support, as well as visitors,” Gianinetti said. “If you own an OHV and need more seats to bring your friends and family, or if you’ve never been, but would like to try it, please look us up.”
