17,000 Coloradans owed 2009 tax refunds

RBC | U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet is alerting Coloradans that they may be one of more than 17,000 residents statewide who are owed tax refunds from the 2009 tax year.
The IRS estimates that half of these unclaimed refunds in Colorado are more than $550 each, amounting to nearly $17 million total throughout the state. The deadline to collect tax refunds from 2009 is April 15.
