MEEKER — The beef club held its monthly meeting on April 9. The beef club invited Clint Shults to give a demonstration on ultrasound on a beef steer. Shults gave a presentation on the facts of beef on the ultrasound. Shults passed out data on ultrasounds on the 2007 4-H beefs that were sold to help members understand ultrasounds better. Speaking for the beef club, we really appreciated Mr. Shults’ presentation on ultrasounds.

RANGELY | The Rangely 4-H council met June 7 with four members attending. RaeLynn Norman, Shelby Neiberger, Torie Slagle and Tessa Slagle started the meeting in a competition of building “humans” with PVC pipe.
