RBC | The Rio Blanco 4-H Shooting Sports teams kicked off the 2023 Fair this past weekend by holding their annual County Shoot in Rangely. This is a community, volunteer, and leader-led event that would never take place without the dedication of several members of the community. Special thanks to the Western Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District’s Tim Weber and Jeff LeBleu for mowing the weeds at the Elks Club Shooting Range so that the Archery youth had a clean, snake-free site for competing. Thanks to the Elks Club and CNCC for letting the youth use their ranges again for the annual shoot. Thanks Chris Hall for making sure we had power. Thanks Ken Myers for coordinating the Rangely end of things. Our leaders and parents worked together to get targets hauled to Rangely and work with others to get them setup in time for the shoot and also taken down afterwards. All of your hard work is greatly appreciated. We cannot hold these events without your help.
