Bark in the Park at Meeker Rec Center Aug. 8

MEEKER I Bark in the Park for dogs, cats and more will be held at the Meeker Recreation Center on Sunday at 1 p.m. The event is free and will feature contests, prizes and more. The MRC swimming pool will be drained, cleaned and refilled during the facility shutdown, Aug. 8-15. That means the pool will be open to dogs during the Bark in the Park event.
There will be a two-mile pet/people fun run/walk around Paintbrush Park, following the Bark in the Park activities, starting at approximately 3 p.m.
