Meeker Mustangs fifth-, sixth-graders win 21-7 versus New Castle Sunday

MEEKER I The fifth- and sixth-grade Mustangs won Sunday, 21-7, against a team from New Castle.
On the defensive side, Casey Turner, Josh Cochran, Tell Blanke, Chase Rule, Doak Mantle, Jacob Pelloni, Dylan Sloan, Eli Newman and Logan Hughes were singled out for their outstanding play, as were Sheridan Harvey, Mantle, Hughes and Pelloni on the offensive side.
The Mustangs play their final game of the season at 2 p.m. Oct. 10.
